Our client, a busy entrepreneur, was using Asana for task/project management for several clients in multiple workspaces. He had a very elaborate client management project template that he wanted to duplicate into another workspace, but could not find a way to do so without manually adding each task. Our mission was to find a way to make this Asana project duplication happen for the client.
After researching all of Asana’s vast capabilities, we found that there was a limitation in terms of copying from one workspace to another while maintaining all formatting of task sections, and we ran across this amazing tool. This tool automatically duplicates projects and/or tasks from one Asana workspace to another. We’ll admit, we were a little skeptical at first, but after testing it out, we discovered that it works like a dream and we have used it time after time with no issues whatsoever.
Now our client is able to duplicate client management projects from one workspace to another with ease. It has saved loads of time for us, and for the client, as no one has to manually add each task to the project.
How We Helped
Our team simply followed the step-by-step instructions on the site by logging into asana and directing the app to copy the template from one workspace to another. We performed a quality check to ensure that all tasks were copied over correctly and then we went to work assigning the tasks to the appropriate team members. Don’t you just love automation?
